I want to personally invite you to join the Women’s Automotive Association International (WAAI) and participate in our exciting 2006 programs and initiatives.
WAAI 2006 Initiatives:
- We provide networking opportunities for automotive women and award high achieving women at our "Spirit of Leadership" and Professional Achievement" award events each year.
- We provide scholarships for female students who are pursuing their education toward an automotive-related career.
- We support up and coming women race car drivers with our “Women in Racing” program and provide scholarships to the Lyn St James Foundation for women to participate in the Lyn St James Driver Development Program. www.lynstjames.com
- Our student membership, based out of the Michigan campus of Northwood University, coordinates visits to secondary schools to educate them on potential career opportunities in automotive and provides speakers to the student members who speak on automotive career options.
- We support Women's Colon Cancer Research ( www.iefoundation.org).
- We support diversity and are partnered with www.onwheelsinc.com, a multicultural multimedia company that publishes African Americans On Wheels. Asians On Wheels and Latinos On Wheels magazines, produces The Urban Wheel Awards, The Urban Wheel Dealer Awards and maintains onwheelsinc.com. On Wheels, Incorporated is also the parent organization of the Edward Davis Education Foundation.

Mission
The Women's Automotive Association International is the automotive industry's premier professional organization, established in 1995, to:
· recognize the achievements of women in the industry;
· provide educational e-news to automotive career-focused individuals;
· build relationships through networking and other interactive forums; and
· encourage growth through mentoring, educational endeavors and
scholarships.
