WAAI -- Lyn St James Driver Development Scholarship Program

We would like to invite your company to join our elite group of Corporate Partners by becoming a sponsor of the Women’s Automotive Association International, “Lyn St James Driver Development Scholarship Program” to be presented at the Lyn St James “Women in the Winner Circle” luncheon at the University of Indianapolis on Thursday, August 3, 2006.  This is an important fundraiser and the year’s biggest event for the Lyn St. James Foundation, which is dedicated to the advancement of women in motor sports.  Many up and coming women motor sport drivers will be in attendance to meet you and share their experiences.

Established in 1994, the Lyn St James Driver Development Program is the most comprehensive educational and training program of its kind. The four-day training courses include instruction in vehicle dynamics, on-track driving at Indianapolis Raceway Park and Whiteland Raceway, instruction and debriefings by mechanics, mental and physical preparation, testing and training provided by Human Performance International, public speaking and media training, seminars on the business of racing, and presentations by leaders in various areas of motor sports. The two-day youth training courses include technical briefings, on-track drills and line instruction, hand/eye coordination exercises, cardiovascular exercises and nutritional training.

Attached is a form that outlines several ways you can demonstrate your support to help ensure that our scholarship fund continues to grow and help deserving young women racing professionals.
