Meet Diane Anderson:
Diane spent 20 years pursuing a career in the design industry. In 1991 she felt a need to change directions and looked for something new to stimulate her drive to succeed. A friend suggested the auto industry and, as the saying goes, "everything else is history." For the first 4 years, she was in the sales end of the business and then moved to the service side and became a Service Consultant. The General Manager of the dealership she was at moved to a different facility and recruited Diane to work for him as a Finance Manager, which she did for the next couple of years. In 1999, Diane landed a position as the Customer Relations Manager for a local dealership and handled client relation concerns for both the sales and service department. In 2002 the dealership decided to create a Business Development Center to handle client concerns, make outbound calls to the existing customer base, handle incoming phone calls, and manage the internet side of the business; Diane was asked to manage this new endeavor.
Recognizing the need to establish a department to better serve their clients, Family Buick Mitsubishi recruited Diane to fill the Management position for the newly created department. Ever up to the challenge, Diane joined our store and is using her past experiences to change the way we do business. Diane's focus has centered on improving guest relations and this led her to recommend the store to seek certification by Ask Patty. We are honored and excited to join the few dealerships that are ahead of the curve to serve the female demographic. Given Diane's past experience in the design field, and her personal and professional experience in the automotive industry, this is a win-win for both organizations.
