Cool Car Stuff for Moms -- and More!

Slipcover Has your child ever had a diaper blowout in her car seat? Exorcist-like vomiting? It’s tough to clean stains out of a car seat. And when you’re on a road trip, you most likely have to scrub the best you can, put your child back in the soiled seat, and endure the smell for the remainder of the trip. Want an easy solution? We recently saw some cute car seat covers featured over at Cool Mom Picks that you just have to take a look at. These covers from Babble Chic are removable and easy to wash — perfect for moms on the go. The covers even fold into an attached pouch until you have time to do laundry (but we recommend you don’t take a week to clean up that blowout). Using your infant seat in a stroller combo? The infant seat cover’s pouch will hold your wallet, phone, and keys. Now that’s convenient!

Pinktaffy After looking further, we found even more great car seat covers courtesy of Cool Mom Picks. These are made by Pink Taffy Designs, and if you don’t like the hot rods and other patterns at Babble Chic, then you definitely want to check these out. They fit most standard infant and toddler seats — and they’re washable.

Sick of your boring old paint job on that tired car? Need a pick-me-up? Check out Sticars. Maybe the skull magnets are perfect for your tortuous commute? Change your mood or change your mind, and just stick on a different magnet pattern. It’s cheaper than a paint job, right?

Recycled_bag Trying to go green by recycling? How about a diaper bag for your husband — made out of truck and tractor tire inner tubes? No we’re not crazy. These bags are virtually indestructible and pretty cool, too. If you’re not into the typical diaper bag patterns, or you just want to be more environmentally conscious, think about these bags from Passchal.

And if you still want more, check out these backless booster seats from clek. Or for car-theme items for your child’s room, think about the Fab Car Table and Chairs from Bubbles Decor.

Coolmompicks_2 If you’re looking for other great stuff for your household, cruise on through the rest of the Cool Mom Picks site. They manage to find amazing non-mainstream products and services that won’t break your budget. Did we mention the freebies? Many times the items they review are also featured in their daily giveaways. And the monthly prizes are even better. So if you don’t have time to look for unusual toys and gifts, let the ladies over at Cool Mom Picks do the legwork for you!
